No better way to start the Christmas season than with this atmospheric, heartwarming and joyful Christmas concert by The Carol Company Choir & Orchestra: Joy to the World! The Carol Company has been under the direction of Stef Collignon since its inception.
The varied program includes beautiful and familiar Christmas Carols, from Away in a Manger and Silent Night to Jingle Bells and The Twelve Days of Christmas. The orchestra makes itself heard in the classic Fantasia on 'Greensleeves' of Vaughan Williams and the romantic Christmas Overture by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. And, of course, we cordially invite our audience to sing along with such classics as Hark, The Herald Angels Sing and O Come All Ye Faithful.
The Carol Company consists of a group of experienced singers who have enjoyed giving concerts of diverse repertoire for over thirty years under the direction of Stef Collignon, the famous Christmas Carol concerts in recent years always in a sold-out Rode Hoed. They are accompanied by the Carol Company Orchestra, a sparkling orchestra of young, talented professionals.
