Can I enter if the program has already started?
At most programs, you can be let into the balcony after the start. Please report to the reception desk for this. At some programs this is not possible. Call reception on the day of the program at 020 5891680 to check.
The program is sold out, how does the waiting list work?
If a program is sold out, you can put yourself on the waiting list. Sign up at the box office from 1 hour before curtain-up. There you indicate how many tickets you would like and receive a number for each ticket. Five minutes before the start of the program, if there are empty seats, the numbers will be called in order. If this program is selected for the offer of WEAREPUBLIC, this also applies to those members.
Can I also return my ticket?
Sell your ticket through Ticketswap and mention it in the program's Facebook event. You are not supposed to resell your ticket for profit. If you are unable to sell your ticket, please contact us at info@rodehoed.nl We do not give refunds, but we can exchange your ticket for another program. You may exchange your ticket for another program up to 2 business days in advance.
Is Rode Hoed wheelchair accessible?
Only the first floor of the Great Hall is wheelchair accessible. This is where most audience programs take place.
How can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets online through our website and at the box office one hour before the program begins.
Can I pay with a PodiumCadeaukaart?
You can. First, select the price type and choose PodiumCadeaukaart as your payment method. Then a new window follows, where you can enter the card number and PIN, and redeem the card.
Can I also eat at Rode Hoed?
Dining options at programs are listed on the program page. If nothing is listed, no food is available and you can branch out to one of the catering establishments in the immediate vicinity of the Keizersgracht.
Missed a program? Streaming of programs
Rode Hoed streams some programs live via its website/facebook/youtube. These programs can also be viewed afterwards, in our archive and on YouTube. If a program is streamed, it will be listed on the program page and at the entrance to the auditorium. Don't want to be in the picture? Then find a seat outside the field of view of the installed cameras.
