Behold the force of Keeley Olivia, besides scientist also “Head Pussy Queen”, as she visits Europe preaching for porn. Olivia, coach and self-proclaimed ‘pussy connaisseur’, masturbated one hour a day for months as a way of research. She reveals the results of her journey in her book Unleashing the Female O, her famous TedX talk, and now also on stage at Rode Hoed!

‘Masturbating is the new meditation’, says Keeley. Her mission in a nutshell: educate women how many ways there are to orgasm, motivate to self-discover and above all communicate that the vulva, the va-jay-jay or the vag isn’t dirty, ugly, or something to be embarrassed about, but something to cherish and celebrate. Douching, vaginal rejuvenation, scented pads: Keeley claims female sexuality is being repressed by a culture of shame and tries to empower and emancipate a young generation of women. Keeley Olivia is a professionally trained transformational, and sex, love and relationship coach as well as an academic researcher and scientist with almost a decade of experience. She holds a first class degree in Chemistry, studied Regenerative Medicine at postgraduate level and has a Masters degree in Medical Statistics.

Met die strijdkreet reist Keeley Olivia, behalve wetenschapper ook ‘Head Pussy Queen’, door Europa. Olivia, coach en – zo schrijft ze zelf – ‘pussy connaisseur’, masturbeerde voor haar onderzoek maandenlang een uur per dag. Over die zoektocht schreef ze het boek Unleashing the Female O en sprak ze voor een bomvolle zaal op uitnodiging van TedX over haar ontdekkingen. ‘Masturberen is het nieuwe mediteren’, aldus Keeley.

Haar missie in een notendop: vrouwen leren op hoeveel manieren ze klaar kunnen komen, motiveren om zelf op ontdekkingsreis te gaan en vooral communiceren dat de vulva, de poenie of de yoni niet vies is, niet lelijk, niet iets om je voor te schamen maar juist iets om te vieren en koesteren. Vaginaal spoelen, schaamlipcorrecties, geurende inlegkruisjes: Keeley stelt dat de vrouwelijke seksualiteit door een cultuur van schaamte wordt weggemoffeld en probeert een jonge generatie vrouwen te emanciperen. Pas als je zelf weet wat je lekker vindt en wat er allemaal kan, zegt Keeley, kun je het je bedpartner leren.

Keeley Olivia is zowel professioneel getraind transformatie-, sex, liefde, en relatiecoach als academisch onderzoeker en wetenschapper met een decennium aan ervaring. Ze heeft een diploma in Scheikunde, studeerde Regenerative Medicine op een postdoc niveau en heeft een Master in Medical Statistics.
